After searching in vain for affordable pro football statistics in a raw, customizable format, Scott decided to collect the data on his own. Knowing that the available alternatives were either exorbitantly expensive or altogether unreliable, Scott decided to allow the public to share the product of his labors, and NFLData.com was born.
